The thieves used a crowbar to pry open the door of San Diego Tackle Traders on Convoy Court in Kearny Mesa around 4:30 a.m. The intruders, who wore gloves, had their faces covered and hoods on, quickly moved through the room snatching up merchandise.
Co-owner John Nichols says they made off with around 150 reels and 30 fishing rods. “It’s well over $100,000 worth of inventory, and insurance will cover about half of that probably,” Nichols told FOX 5
