Smith Lake fishing guide and top tournament angler Rex Chambers suffered a massive heart attack and died Saturday on the way home from the Alabama Bass Trail south division event on Lake Eufaula.

Chambers was 52 years old...

...Earlier in the day, Chambers and Crow posted a 22.98-lb. catch in the ABT event to finish 11th. Their catch was buoyed by Chamber’s 7.88-lb. largemouth. Chambers was a regular on the ABT trail having fished 64 of the 65 tournaments held thus far....
