Loomis Conquest 905c question

I just picked up a used Conquest 905c. I plan to take it to El Salto soon to fish big jigs with big trailers. I would like to hear from some owners what some other good uses for this rod would be? 1-2.5 ounce swim baits maybe?

You'll find it works well to Punch thru the Hyazinth that gathers in the pockets on Salto. The guides we had had over the years had never fished them as they didn't know how. About 10yrs or so ago my partner and I convinced our guide to let us work them. First pushing slowly into them, then once in them then dropping 1oz Texas Rigs with ribbon tail worms or brush hogs. Man did we connect !!! They were hitting them on the fall and on the bottom !! The next day, that guide ONLY wanted to fish the "Liddios", LOL !! That rod will also make a good heavy Swim-bait rod !
