On Sunday July 18th from 2-6pm - at Lasher's Elk Grove Ram, Angler’s Press Outdoors - via it's Sportsman’s University, curriculum, will present a "Hands-On“ Electronics and Sonar Workshop designed to reduce your learning curve...and help you be more productive on the water!

This will be a three-part workshop, and will be hosted in a lecture/lab format, - with "one-on-one" breakout sessions where you can expect to learn about:



FISH FINDERS/TROLLING MOTORS (with Alan Fong - Fisherman's Warehouse)

- Basic functionality
- Setting alarms
- Resolving noise/interference issues
- Setting Way-points
- Transducer technology/functionality
- Downloading software

ELECTRONIC MAPPING: (with Travis Huckaby - Navionics specialist)

- Basic principles of electronic mapping
- Navigating from point A to point B
- Installing mapping chips
- Course plotting - Storing data/settings
- Data recall
- Map/Software upgrading


BATTERIES AND RIGGING CONSIDERATIONS (Frank Ono/Damon Witt)

- Lead vs Lithium
- Best group sizes - for your rig
- Power overloading
- Maintenance tips
- Wiring/installing considerations
- Best charging strategies

No matter what brand of electronics you own, or what species you fish for, this workshop has something for EVERYONE and is designed specifically to help you better understand your electronics.
