Do I need Navionics or Lakemaster

Post by Fast Eddie »

The wifey just ok'd a new boat (Ranger 520 c). Having been a humminbird guy for 20+years, this is my first foray into lowrance (ghost motor and electronics), so the question is what chip will I need for CA in general that is compatible with the new unit. I have an older Navionics hot maps premium SD from Dec 2004 and wondering if it will work.
Any help appreciated.

2004 is an old card, and is very outdated.
You're getting a great boat and electronics. Get the latest compatible mapping and sonar chip, so you can truly enjoy and get the most out of them.
