DWR is taking immediate action to bolster #droughtresilience by committing another $28 million for 15 projects assisting small communities with #drought relief. These urgently needed projects, referred to DWR by the State Water Resources Control Board, will provide reliable water supply sources, improve storage, and modernize infrastructure.

The Small Community Drought Relief Program, totaling $200 million, is aimed at helping small communities become drought resilient.

Communities with a failing drinking water supply must contact their county’s Office of Emergency Services for immediate assistance and emergency response to urgent drinking water needs. These contacts can then facilitate requests for state funding: https://www.caloes.ca.gov/ICESite/Pages/Drought.aspx

I hope it helps those in need.
I think cancelling the Tunnel, and redirecting that money toward water conservation, would be a big step toward sane water management.
