Hds gen 1

So my gen 2 took a crap and I bought a used hds10 gen 1. The chart only works on Lowrance mode. My chip doesn’t work. I heard that a 2013 chip won’t work in this unit. I have no idea what year the chip I put in is because I bought it off a buddy. Should I try the chip off my gen 2? It’s frustrating. I had my stuff running perfectly.

It should work. The Gen1 can read a 32gig and less card so no problem with your Navionics.
Maybe a bad card reader
