As a kid he was my hero, that pre-Stabler team with Warren Wells, Jim Otto, Ben Davidson, Pete Banaszak, etc. Oh, and a coach named Madden.

Birdman, just saw your question beneath this older post. RC is in a convalescent hospital in Gardena, Ca. His multiple health issues had worsened and he was on a ventilator last we heard. Unknown why he was sent south.

I was wondering how RC was doing ? I had heard he was in a convalescent home in Gardena , that was 4 or 5 months ago !
