Godfather of Clear Lake has passed

RC Stephens “The Godfather of Clear Lake” has passed after a long battle with health issues, he will be missed by all who knew him ! he always had a fish story to entertain anyone who would listen ! goodbye RC ! RIP !…..

I fished with him for 19 years and the last 8 years he came here and fished lake Sam Rayburn and we fished the Big Bass Splash here in texas , he loved fishing this tournament. I will ,sure miss him , great guy. John Blair

RC will certainly be missed… if there’s any kind of celebration of life Please let us know. He mentioned to make his Rock Pile. Dedicated to him. The marker there was marked with RC on it. Don’t know if it still is..

We know where he was sent after leaving the hospital here in Napa , he went to a convalsesant home in Glendale . But we can't get anymore where his body went after his death . No power of attorney to Milt in Shasta so I guess he was buried there in Potters field. No other information is available. We will miss you buddy. God Bless You

Has anyone looked into claiming his remains/ ashes ?…..

We have nothing where he was last at and to get his remains you must be his last person as his power of attorney, which there is no power of attorney. Milt was the last person that was at his house before he went into hospital. Then he was transferred form Napa hospital to convalesent home in Glendale , California by LA. When you call the home there he is not listed there anymore. Thanks for asking. John Blair
