1 Other thing.... well 2 ....the proper rod and also the correct line. P Line will not work as well for these baits as other much limper lines.

With a walking bait like the Balsa Pro I tie direct to the eye.
I use 15 lb or 18 lb Max green and it works fine. If you use to light a line you don't get a good action. I soft rod works best IMHO.
Some of the top pros like Ish use a fiberglass crankin rod but I like a Medium to medium light graphite rod.
