Drowning on the delta

Post by Dom »

After yall tuck your kids in bed tonight to wait for Santa be greatful you had the chance, a good friend of my father-in- law (Eric Wright) drowned yesterday They just called off the search about 10 min ago. Gonna wait for him to surface.

He leaves behind his wife Selena and two sons Mathew who is 5 years old and Jacob who is 12 and unfortunately they won't get tucked in by dad ever again. So yall say a prayer for the family they sure could use it my father in law also, he is pretty choked up.

Man...

This ain't no good, anytime of the year. It just got to horrible for those little guys.

A lot of bad news here latley. I know there are no answers but I always question why?????

Lord bless all that are hurt from this loss, and ease thier sorrow.

If you could let us know what happened after a time, if it's not damaging to anyone? I would like to know so that maybe it could save someone in the future.
I had to come back...I know...

Saw it on the news. It wasnt the Delta, it was a lake in Livermore. Sad

Eric and his father in law wanted to go fishing Eric called Bob (my father in law to go but my father in law wasn't feeling up to it they had just gotten back the day before they all went out on my father in laws boat so he was still alittle wore out. My father-in-law feels at fault he thinks if he would have just went this might not have happen so he is beating himself up. Eric was a Navy Seal I dont get it either he was educated about the water.

So Eric and his Father in law took thier 12' alum. they were done fishing he went up to get the truck we are assuming the boat got away from the dock becuase Eric had taken off his life jacket, shirt, and shoes we think he went back in after the boat and Hypo set in the father in law had to go to the bathroom and was talking to a couple in line when he looked down the hill he seen the boat capped sized and ran down but Eric was no where to be found.

I remember this same story happening a few years ago at Oroville

Wow, how terrible! My prayers go out to the family and friends.
Here is a special link I came across that is somewhat appropriate... it's a tearjerker but worth a listen. It's short.
