Typically, our Nutcase Classic are a $20 entry fee and a on the spot big fish pot to be determined that morning. We would normally donate 50% of the entry fee to a charitable organization or to benifit someone in need! Then the rest of it is just chump change ta distribute to the top 2-4 guys depending how the director wants ta handle that. We don't even have to have an entry fee, but just fish for the coveted trophies that draw us all to these things, along with the comraderie, braggin right and great food!

I guess it's time I met some of you guys, and fished in a tournament :)

Boater, coming from Danville, somebody's welcome to ride with me.

I'll bring two portable grills, and cook about five or so pounds of Carolina Steak Nuggets. What are those? They were invented by a Texan living in North Carolina, that's all you need to know.

Unless a lady shows up don't ya'll bring no darn vegtables, ya' hear?

I plan on attending and will bring my boat and some macaroni and potato salad

After reading the messages from the people that are entered it looks like there will be plenty of mac and potato salad. I will think of something else and post it when I figure it out.

If they do it the same way as the CL Rally it should not be a problem to fish with your wife for both sessions.

Don - I am not running or going to be at the event but the spirit of these events is camaraderie and fun. If you want to fish with your spouse for the entire event, do so and just let the TD know that at the checkin. You should have no problem at all enjoying the day with your missus!! You wil still need to adhere to the weighin schedule.

Does someone know how long will take to drive - up to - down to - over there? As you can see we may need some direction also – what was the name of the lake?

It's 75 miles from my drive way in Brentwood .Took about 1 hr 20 min yesterday not towing a boat. So allow a little more if ya are towing from my area. If'n ya are coming from further away , Well YOU get the picture.

WARNING; The main entry into the Launch ramp parking lot has been closed off with barrels and a cable. The lady in the trailer (caretaker) says she will take it down for our event , but you never know for sure. If the barrels are still up , you will need to go up the hill past the trailers and veer to the left to get into the launch ramp parking lot.

Be careful, The road is narrow and tight turn's into the lot. Those of you who have tandem trailers need to pay attention.

Well, I saw we have like 14 boats and 4 non boaters?

I've never been to the lake before, never actually fished a tournament before, and the new Lowrance won't be here until Monday, so I may not get a chance to install it. With all that in mind I'd just as soon ride with somebody, and will be happy to pay 1/2 the expenses. I am coming from Danville.

I'm bringing some slow cooked beans with bacon/ham hocks. Thought that would go good with the cold winter weather we WERE having.

I see a few more bean dishes are coming, so I can adjust if needed, let me know.

I'm encouraging him to get a list together of things we still need so that those not committed can bring something off the list that will help out
