So with the rising water, will the fish want to start moving shallow?

Doug,

If this were a normal fishery I would say yes!!

But Folsom is fickle

If the water temps are rising along with the water level then yes there should be some shallow fish.

My concern is that the lake has been so low for so long now that the fish have become conditioned. This body of water normally is on the rise January thru June/July then declines throughout the remainder of the year. Then starts its cycle all over again!! The fish are much easier to pattern when we have the normal rise and lower conditons. This past eight months it has been a pond without much flucuation!!

You probably already knew this, but if not I hope it helps.

The fish are at 80 feet still. Don't fish shallow. Dropshot 4lb line with 4 inch worms. Fish super slow.....
