Tying on Triple Trout

Do you guys tie directly to the line tie or add a split ring? I don't like the snap.

Tie Directly to the eye. With the snap it doesnt get any more or better action so no real need for it or a split ring. And I'm not t fond of snaps I have hear to many horror stories for people fighting a big fish and it comes off the reel in and all they have is their snap. I hope this helps!!

Remove the snap, it is for packaging only. Tie direct to the line tie.
