Date for the LL Challenge

Post by RipnRog »

the date we have come up with is Saturday October 4th out of Russos Marina.

The fee is $10.00 per person so $80.00 per team...

Winner Take aLL...... I was thinking we could donate the proceeds to a charity. we will discuse this further.
this tourney is really about trash talking.... bragging rights and just plain handing out a whooping....

The LL will most likely have three seperate teams.....

5 fish per boat so the entire team can weigh in 20 fish..... no sharing fish..... This means each boat will have to catch there own fish to contribute to there 4 boat team......

Please PM me if you already have not to let me know if you are fishing the event. I am going to get a permit for this event so if the DFG is reading dont worry...... I will get a permit.

Roger,

Instead of "winner take all" it would be great if the proceeds of this event went towards charity. Maybe the Bryant/Crenshaw Scholarship Fund or the Pro-Teen Tournament? That might attract more participants and instead of "winner take all" perhaps some plaque donations could be solicited. You could call it the LL Charity Challenge.

Yeah Norv...... this one is about fun.... We were considering the bryant fund but were looking to see if there were any others that were fishing related. ..... and as Brian said we might just let the winners decide..... we really didnt want this tourney to be about money.......

G it's the AC Semi-Pro on the 11th/12th. 2 weeks later is the ABA, if I can squeak into that one. We missed the opener.

Things may change, I would really like to fish this...

Don't think Cast for kids is charity, Cooch or Gator ought to know for sure,

The proceeds from last winter nutcase Cllassic went to em.

but its all good, what ever decission is made by the majoriry.

OK, I'm hooking up with ash, Sacto John, Guy Kelly and BDBR. I just talked to Mark Inman and he's going to make our team some of his "secret" Lefty's Lures jigs that are the guaranteed magic bait for the Delta.

Guess we better start checking out what charity to donate the proceeds to!!!

James,

As I understand the DFG rules, if you have a fishing contest that has any kind of award then a permit is required.
