Someone should start a thread for fishing shows...I've stumbled on to shows that I didn't even know about until I read a post about it. There is some great shows out there that alot of people don't know about.

If you didn't get to see it, or get to schedule it on your TiVo (had NHRA and UFC already scheduled myself!), it will re-air:
  • Wednesday August 13th at 9:00 AM
Friday August 22nd at 11:00 PM
Saturday August 23rd at 9:00 AM

just watched the movie...... stupid and kind of funny. Some good one-liners. Bait shop was a start though in making these kind of movies. I thought it was funny how they included the Elite series, Mark Zona, Keith Allan, and Preston Clark. But with a cast with Billy Ray Cyrus and Bill Engvall, how good can it get? I am (and have been) waiting for the big screen movie The Bass Master to come. Made by Lionsgate films, it should come out this year, and it should be pretty good. Ive heard its supposed to be like Talladega Nights or Happy Gilmore

Ummm... with Bill Engvall, how could it not be good?!? Hard to imagine he'd do something that sucked, else "Here's your sign!"

yo tunaman, I know what your talking about. I was from a "regular movie critic" point of view from what I said. I love Larry cable guy's movies soooooooooo much, for that kind of movie it was good. I think Billy Ray was like a dominant KVD and a a-hole fisherman that aren't on the elites at all

That's too bad... I haven't watched any, so I guess I'm lucky in that respect. He's a heck of a funny guy.

Well, just watched it, as the Tivo recorded it earlier today.

Pretty funny - not hillarious but not so bad... it was worth a watch IMHO.

Can't wait to give Zona some crap at this year's Bass-A-Thon!

I thought is was alright but I hate when they try so hard to fake things, like the part at the end with the mailman delivering a copy of Basswest... Har Har

What a joke! :( I thought it was more of an insult to tournament fisherman, and who wears those stupid jump suits anyways. There was also a lack of regard to boating safety which should never be a joke considering the tragedies we have experiences in the past few years. I was hoping for a few laughs but was very disappointed in the movie.

Good point about the safety though... definitely not a laughing matter.

Was home sick yesterday and caught this flick on USA also...
What a pile of crap...And such a huge misrepresentation of our sport.
Changed it after a short and painful viewing.Only good thing about it was Mark Zona...and Preston Clark...

Hot Rod Johnson??? What a joke....Could they find a "gayer" jumpsuit...

It's SUPPOSED to be stupid--it's not a documentary fer chrissakes. Do you knock Death Race 2000 (the original version, not the knockoff) for misrepresenting road racing?
