my soft fuel bulb problem fixed

after considering the responces and just about to change my bulb, i tried something, i squeesed the bulb in the upright position and it got hard (no pun intended), also on the bulb next to the arrow was the word UP, so i guess my problem is eliminated for now, a little reconfiguring should do it--point the bulb up-----xman

Just get a new one. It should work horizontal as well as upright. Although it does make me think that perhaps you might have an air leak between tank & bulb . . .

Second that, get a new bulb, that old one is going bad. Flat, up or down matters not. Just make sure the new one is pointing with the flow in the correct direction. Bill K :)
