STOWING BOAT GAS QUESTION
STOWING BOAT GAS QUESTION
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STORE A BASS BOAT TILL NEXT YEAR SHOULD I TOP THE GAS OFF AND ADD A STABLIZER OR SHOULD I ADD GAS STABLIER TO WHAT I HAVE KNOW BOAT IS IN THE GARAGE THANKS ALOT GEORGE
Re: STOWING BOAT GAS QUESTION
I would drain the gas and put it in your truck/car.
Re: STOWING BOAT GAS QUESTION
back in michigan we always filled it up and used sta-bill. never had a problem. sometimes we would take it in and get the motor fogged and run some windshield washer fluid through the livewells and bilge to keep from freezing.
Re: STOWING BOAT GAS QUESTION
Sta-bil should work just fine... should only be storing for four months or so, right?
Just don't forget to keep the batteries charged periodically, and be sure you turn it over a few cranks with the kill switch off to get the oil pumping and the cylinders lubricated.
