horrendous effort by the Cubs. Gotta give the Dodgers credit they played very well. Very tough to give your loyalty to a team that just rolls over and dies like that. Man I don't feel so good.

Someone on the air said the Cubs didn't look sharp, and that the Dodgers did, because they'd been in a "playoff" with Arizona for the last month of the season.
Maybe that's true for the Angels, too.
Lost that edge.

There's still time for them.

Loney is another one that is coming into his own. I hate him, but the ball flies off his bat. Joe torre also outmanaged Sweet Lou. Kept the team loose and confident. With that said I hope you get smoked by the Phillies

James Loney has skills, but I do believe he is a loose cannon just waiting to bust loose with smack. He was right in the middle of the dugout mess last year with Jeff Kent. I hate Jeff Kent, but Loney was a rookie, and he should have known his place.

That is where Torre steps in, he has changed the clubhouse vibe and unified it, which is why they are currently playing well. Loney seems to be maturing. Kent is just a pr^ck. Why am I talking Dodgers Baseball? 2 words 4 ya.. Chase Utley

Utley has a bat thats for sure. Howard will go 2 for 16 with 14 strikeouts and the Dodgers take it in 4. You cant stop em. Its too late.

My good friend Tyler Johnson plays for the Cards. Those seats that it was filmed from is where the dodgers put all the family and friends of the opposing team. The whole stadium boooooooos, and they cheer. its kinda funny. We sit there when he comes back to town to play the Dodgers. He might have One or Two Deep balls, but thats his two hits for the series!

I bet you half the fans at Dodger stadium dont even know who matt stairs is. 254 career home runs. I called that shot in the 8th. I was proud.

I turned to my buddy and said " these Dodger fans are about to find out who Matt Stairs is"..right when it left the bat i laughed so hard. It looked like someone kicked my buddy right in the gut.

I witnessed that stairs shot w/ a mouthful of jager and jambalya. I was the only one cheering the Phils in the bar I was at. After Victorino hit his the bar was dead silent, you could have heard a pin drop and everyone in the bar turned around and gave me the stink eye...

The dodgers didnt lose the Game. Joe Torre lost the game. And whoever thinks Manny is going to NY. Think again. He hates the media! Thats why hes here. You think he want s to go back and do it all again? NEVER! and thats straight from the horses mouth himself. We still have a chance. Not a very good one though. Very disappointing. I though Joe was a good coach. Who pulls out a pitcher that in the inning prior got all of LA off their feet and back in the game. He lets up a measly little single and now you have to pull him? I dont get it. The talk in the locker room should have been Joe Saying sorry to his team for a very poor decision on his part. Come on Blue!!!!!!!! One at a time. Its not over until Cory D sings!

My across the street neighbors are from Athol, Mass., and bleed Red Sox red. And their older daughter and my older daughter, both 20 now, have been best friends since before birth, when both their moms went to Mommy & Me together, so I am rooting for the Sox.
As for my Dodgers, we need to resign all but Kent $8+mil. and Nomo $8+mil., and use the money to sign Manny. Good players, but too old and taking up salary and roster spots we need for younger guys with more upside.
A little more pitching, and we'd still be playing.
Torre did a great job getting everyone on the same page, and getting the older guys to be okay with sitting.
Now we need to resign Manny, Lowe, Penny, Furcal, and let the older guys go.
If McCourt is short the dough, he can always sell some parking lots.

I like furcal, but I think he isn't worth what he'll demand. If he cound stay healthy for the season they I'd love to have him. I just worry after watching him limp after that tag out on second that he'll get injured again...

Any way we can get rid of Andruw Jones?!?!? There's a player that needs to get th f out of the dug out.

Nomar has been pretty clutch this year, playing Short, Third and First..he's been hitting pretty good but also can't seem to stay healthy.

I like Matt Kemp, but boy does he strike out a lot.
