Lake Mohave; Katherine's Landing

Im taking the kids out of Katherine's Landing next week. We were there 3 weeks ago and all i could see were all of the carp around the lake. I even put on my goggles and swam in that crystal clear water and looked for fish in the rockwork and around bushes but i didnt see anything... no shad, bluegill or bass. Where are the bass in that lake? Are they all down deep (40+ feet) in the clear water? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My club went and fished out of cottonwood last Saturday,
no mention of the carp, a couple guys ran down south and caught some good fish,
but im not sure where their secret spot is

Might not be all the way down to Katherine landing.

If the water is up in the brush, green pumpkin 5" Senkos weightless or wacky rigged will always get some good fish. Just long cast it into the cuts with brush, or to any bush and you should get bit.
