Which Trolling motor?

Which trolling motor the Fortrex or the Maxxum? I have an 18.5 foot Tracker deep-V and a 24V system. Also how do I measure the trolling motor I have to get the correct shaft length?

I agree. I just upgraded from a 74 maxxum to an 80 fortrex and have been very happy. Fortrex doesn't have the vibration that my maxxum had and the lift assist helps for those long days on the water.
