Trolling motor shaft length

My 2002 Tr-186 came with a motorguide with a 45" shaft. I want to upgrade to a MK Terrova but they make limited models with a 45" shaft. For instance, the shortest model they make with the universal sonar is 54". They make a sweet combo with universal sonar and I-pilot but it's only available in a 60" shaft. Have any of you put a 60" shaft TM on your bassboat? Will it look ridiculous? Thanks.
