Insurance? Who should I get quotes from?

Post by ACP »

I sick of my State Farm Agent & I'm going to start shopping all of my policies starting with my boat. Any recommendations on companies you like?

Two of the best out there are:

Stan Vandenburg at 1-800 BASS BOAT. Stan did me right when my boat was hit

Al Grout - Sawyer Cook insurance - (909) 379-6733.

Both of these guys are bass fishermen and know the ins and outs of boat insurance.

You really need to check out 1-800-bassboat from the Vandenburg's, if you can get with ACE Marine through them, you will be happy. I recently changed my insurance from Foremost to ACE through Stan and Ken, they got me twice the coverage, half the deductible and saved me $370 a year. Also, a month after I got the new insurance, I unfortunitally had a claim on my lower end and they paid it out with no hassles at all. I am a prior insurance agent and still work in the industry and can say that the service and coverage are outstanding...expecially for bass fisherman...check them out!

I too got tired of my old insurance company raising rates all the time. I tried 2 or 3 of the above mentioned companies and then last year asked the dealer where I purchased my new boat from, what companies they had had favorable dealings with and he told me that Progressive was excellent to deal with. I switched and have had nothing but good luck with them. Get on-line quotes from a bunch and decide.
Just passing by.

Fish On has new program starting this week

1800 Bass Boat Vandenburgs have fished and provided great services for years....

Sawyer and Cook also a long time supporter here on Westernbass. All of these companies have been here for a while and know the bass fishing business well....

For your boat...and this is coming from an agent. Stan and Ken are very hard to beat. Hell, my boat is with them..they specialize in this area and the coverage is awesome.

As for your home and autos, give me a call and I would be happy to quote them for you and you won't get hounded by a typical Insurance salesman. Every Insurance company raised rates this year and thats probably the increase you saw. Farmers did this early back in Summer. I have already had 4 clients come over from State Farm in the last few months because their rates jumped quite a bit. Shoot me an email or feel free to call.
