Has the ownership changed again. The last time I was there it SUCKED. We used to be welcomed there, then it seemed we were a bother. And the prices where sky high.

Your right Mitch, the Gas Station SUCKS. I heard that the guy who owns it now used to own the Houseboat. However the Houseboat is totally redone and in great shape.
Also, I dont know the current status of this spot as I am a bit removed from the area at the time but the Don Pedro Lumber Company has some kick @$$ sandys.

Don't open until 6 am? Not very tourney friendly. Maybe they'll open up earlier come spring time. Most of us will have gone past them by 6 am.

The owner tells me that he has and is willing to open early for Bass Tournament check ins and they can have awards cerimony doings there. I hear WON does their early check ins there ?
Gas, yes highest around I believe $ 3.14 regular, last time I looked. The same guy ownes Boats Unlimited in Merced/Atwater I guess. Heard he had a real hard time getting started this past year, but looks busy every time I drive by. Thats all I know

I like the 76 station in snelling, gas is a little more than merced arco or valero, but not the worst. It also has a great carwash and a small tackle areas with beserkbaits, norman, spro etc. stuff and live bait.

It also has an easy to drive in new station so no problem getting boat trailers around.
