Is it to much to hope that there is a place that might offer a
trade in or some kind of incentive to change a 2 stroke to a 4
stroke? Any ideas or guidance would be appreciated.
I am casually considering this change and just wondering if I
would need to sell the old engine
Thanks,
Mike
Want to trade out my 2 stroke for a 4 stroke.
Re: Want to trade out my 2 stroke for a 4 stroke.
A few months back when I was seriously considering the new Yamaha 4 stroke, I made contact with a dealer in Arizona. The deal was I would tow my boat over there and they would take my boat out and test the engine and make me an offer on the motor. Then I would apply that money towards the new 4 stroke. Getting the 4 stroke there was a lot cheaper than buying it here but I'm pretty sure I wasn't going to get what I needed for my motor even thou its in really good shape. The plan then was to sell my motor here and then tow over there for the new one. I'm not able to do any of that now. I think the place was Anglers Marine in Phoenix but I could be wrong. You might call them.

Thanks for the info. Looks like it might be easier to sell the boat and
start a new.
Thanks,
Mike
