HOW WOULD YOU TARGET SHALLOW MUDDY WATER BASS IN A 3 HOUR EVENING TOURNAMENT?

With a Big JignPig or a 10" black power worm. That has been my best bets at night. Good Luck to you

Bigger, noisier, brighter or darker colors of the normal shallow water baits that you would use..You have to give them something that will attract their attention..If you try all that and aren't getting anywhere, return to your normal shallow water presentations..Keep in mind the rules for success in bass fishing are made up by the fish..Sometimes they do completely opposite of what we might expect..

Fish quick!

I would Buzz, Crank/blade, and swing a big jig.

Three hours is short time, I would try to cover as much water as possible. Those baits will give you a better fish. I would hang a great big Kalin Mogombo grub on the jig, or something like it.

GOOD LUCK!

I'd be tossing a great big ole Back/Red Muskie Jitterbug! You git one bite, might win the whole kitten kaboodle! Two bites, ya walk away with it! :D :D :D

Depends where you are...but

When you locate an area that seems to hold fish, slow down and try a large worm or craw(like a zipper worm) texas rigged with brass and glass. Load it up with your favorite scent and shake, shake, shake...hold on tight, the strikes can be violent.
Good luck...

I was also thinking that a good Top Water just might be the ticket..I kinda included it in my noisier selection..No matter what you use, it really needs to get their attention..Make it easier to find and they will come to you..

Simple....

....big, loud, and obnoxious. A great big, single colorado huge bladded, short arm spinnerbait is as fun as it gets. That nice slow thump of that blade turning then getting interupted by a huge fish trying to dislocate your wrists is one of the finer moments in bass fishing. :o
