veritas rod

Post by new2bassfishin »

I just bought a veritas rod the other day and i got to use it today and i loved it. I got the 7'3 MH and paired it with an Abu Garcia Orra sx. Caught a few dinks today, nothing of size but still the rod worked great. I was wondering if anyone could help with what rod for which application, so when i am able to get a few more ill know which rod for which application. Thanks In advance.

Ditto on some of the same techniques that CF71 expressed, with some other applications as well...

4. vrc70-5 7' M MF - have not used yet, but hoping will be good for rip baits, small plugs and poppers.
5. vrc70-6 7' MH F -
6. vrc70-7 7' H XF - Flippn and jigs... also may be a good heavy slop frog rod
7. vrc73-6 7'3" MH F - I have thrown hollow bellies, chadderbaits, spinnerbaits, and casting (lake) jigs this rod and it's one of my favorite so far. Could be a nice buzzbait rod with the softer tip along with a nice buzz frog rod along with being able to skip or cast under low hanging trees with a hollow belly frog... this rod seems to have many applications that you can get away with...
8. vrc76-6 7'6" MH F - I have only used swim baits so far. This rod even handled heavier swim baits, but small body profiles. It should be good for flippn as well...
