i fished 3 days this weekend, as nuts as it was. Let me say, I threw all the colors in the box and they didn't like any of them! The bluegill and red ear were biting them though! LOL!

I did catch a couple smallies on home pour that is pretty similar to Peoples Worm in color.

That color is bad ***! I have not seen it before but me thinks it may work in NorCal too  I havnt been to havasu in years but for me it was purples or greens - I think the Ole Ugly tube could be killer down there but again its been years since I have harrassed those fish.

Keep it simple Jeff. Oxblood, Aronns Magic, Folkstad Special for dropshot. Green pumpkin (various flakes) spider jigs will work best for Jigs. If you are fishing a derby.. stick to reaction to get winning fish.

JIG COLORS / SILICONE PUFFBALL JIGS
Green pumpkin/Black green crystal/blaze orange
Brown/green pumpkin pepper/hot blaze orange
Green pumpkin/Black green crystal
GRUB TRAILERS
Yamamoto 4" twin tail grubs
colors
208
284
286
1/8 oz walleye head
1/8 oz & 1/4 oz arkie head
3/8 oz Arkie head 3/8 oz football head
A good jig to throw there right now would be a ( skinny bear signature series jig ) in 1/4 or 3/8 oz. They have some color patterns that would work well there.

wow all this crazy color stuff at Havasu. Brown and purple jig and a cinnamon black and purple trailer. Keep it simple and wow Eric you through the tackle box and did not catch much........... Also topwater and jerkbaits. Easy lake to fish for sure. I also like a couple other colors but they are real basic. Purple power worm as well as motor oil color.

Ray's the man men, he won a boat there with my ex fishing partner a few years ago.
Thanks for your 2 cents Ray. Might be fishing the top sick joes this year if I can convince my fishing partner. :D
