to sprinkle the powder on the hot weight than dip it into the powder...Slid weight on a spinnerbait wire
and then heated it with a lighter...Have also used the gas barbecue to heat the weights, too...Don't
like using the oven to cure the jigs, I just used the lighter or barbeque to warm up the weight after
the initial coat...Don't overdue with lighter because it will leave black smoke on paint if done too
long...Steelhead jig heads came out nice and so did the shad darts...The oven method left a smell
in the house that I believe wasn't healthy for breathing, outside and moving air is safer...Also, don't
overheat weight too long over the BBQ, the lead will melt...

You can also use a heat gun (like a blow dryer). Heat up the head coat it and then heat it again.
