Castaic Night

Post by TCS »

What time does check in end or what time does everyone usually launch. I know check in begins at 5:30pm. I get off work at 5pm and have about a 45min drive. Trying to determine if i can make it. I know in the past some tournaments take some time due to the lake getting all of the day boaters off.

If you leave work at 5 you will have time to get to the lake and get registered. The lifeguards wont let you blast off until the last public boat is off the water. Unless things have changed, this usually around 7:30. If you're at the lake by 6 or 6:30 you'll be fine.

DL is right. There really is no cutoff time until the tournie begins. There have been a number of times that when we are launching, somebody pulls in and still fishs. Launch is around 7:30sh. and weigh in is 2 or 2:15 depending on your flight.
