What are some good TM batteries?

Post by tmulliken »

Don't want to spend a ton on them, just some good solid batteries. Appreciate the help. Sears DieHard?

Everstarts - Best bang for the buck with a great warranty. If they fail, there is always a Wally world nearby.

Great, thanks for the help. Are the everstarts the Maxx type? They , wallmart, have nothing listed on their web for everstarts, they call them something else, I forgot what. I can get everstarts other places, just wondering if the group 27 Maxx are the ones. great help guys, this forum rocks!

I just bought a Costco used marine battery 6 month old for $25.00 from a guy who still have one more. My last one ( same ) lasted me almost 5 years. He's in Sac if interested.
Costco has the best return policy on their products. It's a size 24 for my cranking .

I have a 36v MG Digital Tour. I have been running the same setup that I bought the boat with almost a year ago. 2 Everstart Max 29's and it also has a Interstate 27 (cranking/trolling). Even though I want to up grade and add another Everstart Max 29, I can say these batteries have been great!

The dudes at battery systems swear by the Trojans. I picked up the house battery they carry and have been running them a year and a half. Yesterday I ran them on a minimum setting of 60 for six hours legitimately looking for stripes. They lost about 50% by the end. I'd say they are pretty good.

I have ran them all. Unless you go high end they are all very close. What is important to me is MAINTENANCE FREE!
