Pretty neat new jig concept

Post by Steve Reed »

After stumbling across the NuTech Pro Series Jigs on Youtube, we were convinced we had to add them to our inventory at Monster Fishing Tackle. The jigs feature dual weedguards, but instead of the fibrous style guards commonly found on the jigs, they are made from a single piece construction. Similar jigs are offered in really heavy sizes that lend themselves to flipping heavy cover, but the NuTech Jigs are much lighter and better suited for fishing with fluorocarbon in just about any cover. Like the other double weedguard jigs, the design provides three real benefits:
  1. The jig is able to resist snagging with far greater consistency
  2. The hook point is unimpeded, offering better hook penetration upon the set
  3. The hook always remains off the bottom, the jig will never roll completely over

Been using them for about two months and really like them. Want to thank Oldschool for telling me about them. Give them a try, you might be surprised.

Tackle warehouse should have this jig soon under Iovino products with a Owner hook and custome tied skirts.
