I'm headed to clear lake on Thursday for the first time, we are taking my cousins boat ,so I'm limited on how much stuff i can bring . I have rods for nearly everything and lures a plenty i was hoping to get some advice on what to throw at these fish. Let's say i brought 6 rods, what lures/rods would you bring?
Any advice would be most appreciated

The WON BASS NorCal Open just completed three days on Clear Lake.
Here are some of the techniques that the top finishers did
Wormin'
flippin' tules
froggin'
spooks
jigs
chatterbait
Fish came as shallow as 4-ft and as deep as 30-ft.
You can pretty much take your pick of what and how you want to fish right now!
Here are a couple of videos that were recently posted with tips on Clear Lake

Try a Green Pumpkin Lizard with a chartreuse tail being dragged around by a 1 oz. sinker on a Carolina rig and use a 24" leader of fluorocarbon as light as 8lb depending on water clarity with a strong hook (no fine wire)and aT LEAST A MED/HEAVY 7 FOOT ROD. Best in the south area of the lake around the hidden rock piles and such.

Dropshot 6" MM3 on the ends of the docks for big post spawn fish. Go in between the docks for smaller bed fish and males guarding fry. I was just up there a week ago and that worked for me. Averaged 17-22#

Re: Clear Lake Techniques in June
Thanks for the advice. I already went up but plan on making another trip soon . I will try the techniques you suggested. After my first trip it is clear that i have a lot to learn. We caught fish but it seemed slow. I did hook a giant though if it was a bass. Without question it would have been my PB . But this thing was so big i keep thing it was a big catfish or something. Aafter my first trip, it is really a cool body of water, can't wait to get back
