Hmm...not sure how many people want to expose any "hidden gorges" or ledges etc...don't think I'd want to give up my "spots" that I found from putting in time and energy and money only to hit the lake and see other boats on the spot that likely few know about!

I am posting this on behalf of Travis Huckaby who is having trouble logging on to this site today:

From Travis:
Hey there guys I'm a competitive angler myself and I totally understand where you are coming from.. The main thing to remember is when you're recording sonar logs you are just recording Depth Contours. It will NOT show your "way points" or any specific structure your fishing such as Rocks,Wood, etc and all logs are anonymous so no one knows who submitted it an where they were at..Plus, if you're a Top Secret fisherman you can always stop recording when you pull into your secret area and then start recording again when you leave the area. Its always a good idea to have breaks in your recordings because that makes uploading a little faster. So in my opinion, the Berryessa Sonar log event is a win win situation because you get to help make a great product even better and you have a chance at getting a great prize for your efforts.. So if you have any questions I'll be at Fisherman's Warehouse 9/19 doing hands on demonstrations on how to do Sonar Logs so feel free to come on out...
