has anyone ever tried the bill dance hook remover or anything similar to that thanks george

I tried the one that he uses on the show and it did a pretty good job, still had to use long needle nose pliers for a couple of the deep hooked fish because I had to come up through the gills. But all n all its a pretty good product and will buy one at some point, I just have not gone to BPS since to buy a set.

Once you reach through the gills with your fingers to turn the hook, it works great. I like it better than needle nose pliers because I always seemed to grab a little of the gut with the pliers when I was trying to grab the hook, but that doesn't happen with the hook remover.
