Looking to join a local club in the east bay as a NON-Boater. Just seeing if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Interest in joining a Bay Area Club
Re: Interest in joining a Bay Area Club
I'm personally from BassBusters of Santa Clara.
Good Club, Good People. Lots of new faces this year.
You can go here for more information.
http://www.bassbusters.com/
There are a few clubs in the South Bay and I think a couple in SF.
Look at the clubs schedule
Where they meet for meetings
How they weigh-in
People you may know
Visit a meeting just to see what they are like
What are the rules and costs for the non-boater
What are the club dues
Do they fish for cash, trophies, or bragging rights
Politics
Clubs are a great place to learn "all" the techniques, as well as tournament etiquette.
In South Bay there is also Bass Classics, Gilroy Bassbusters, Belly Boaters (? not sure the full name).
They are good clubs as well. I'm sure someone from each of those clubs will chime in.
Good Luck, Say Hello if you come to our meeting.
