The Yamamoto Big Bass Challenge's big Winners! Vijay Malhotrah in the last hour on Day 2 Weighed an 8.98 Delta Hen to take Big Fish of the tournament. Vijay had an amazing weekend Punchin and Flippen a 331 Flappin Hog to take 5 check spot on his own and two more spots by his partner. Vijay won the last two hourlies on day two, and took two 2nd place seat, add Big Bass of the event and they took home 8 checkts totalling over $6100. Of the Top 12 who drew for the Grand prize of $8500, Jacob Picciuto, who won the top seat on Day one hour 5 with a 6.74 hen caught on a 9L 208 Senko, drew the lucky envelope for a total of $8900. 274 anglers fished this years event under some tough windy conditions that pushed a lot of the bigger fish out of the shallows who have been attempting to spawn here. Yamamoto's wide range of versatile baits came to the fore front as those who adjusted and stayed away from the less than mediocre shallow Senko, bite prevailed in catching the bigger fish all weekend! In all over the two days we had well over 200 bass brought to the scales between 5.00-8.98 pounds! Excellent work anglers, and a huge Thank You from GYCB! — with Vijay Malhotra.

Way to go and congrats Vijay; We gonna have to get together and fish one of these events on the Delta or Clear Lake...

Thanks A lot Bo!! I had a blast over the weekend and also like to the thank everyone that supported/participated and Future Pro for putting on a well run event.
