Hey guys opening day duck season is this Saturday! I had a few hunters that came into the store this week and had stories about Bass Fisherman this past weekend on the Delta getting into arguments with them on hunting versas fishing. One hunter told me a bass fisherman was fishing a tournament on the Delta last weekend and has another one this weekend and he better not have his decoys on his fishing hole!
This weekend is the opening weekend for duck season, I have a Hook tournament on Sunday. The Duck hunters have the right of way so to speak, if you are obstructing a duck hunter from hunting you can be sighted.
If i get any calls from duck hunters complaining about an angler giving him problems during my tournament that team will be disqualified.
Please lets work together.
Gene

Re: It's here again
Dude! Theres a huge difference between a hunter and a resident hunter! For you to penalize newbies for messing with your friends who set decoys for a year and hole sit for a year is wrong!
Hunting is not safe if someone is in the field, the hunter must yield or face charges! There are no visable signs that a hunter is even hunting! I have fished the river for over twenty years, get along!
