Yup Skylark is a good spot. It has a launch right there that will hopefully have lots of water to launch in come april. Its has a nice lawn area out back to relax and they have BBQ's and picnic tables if your into that.

Konocti Vista has a nice set up as well, the rooms are not as nice as skylark however. The dock at Konocti Vista is nicer and provides protection from wind/waves if its blowing.

The VRBO would only be worth it if your doing a family vacation of some sort and need more room.

Have fun!

There is a place called blue fish cove resort, its 8 cottages ranging in price from $60 -$120 per night, and constant specials during the winter, the place is clean and quiet, boat slips w/elect (your cord) and launch ramp less than 20 yards from the cottage....3 of the cottages(5,7&8) face the slips and dock, the lady that owns it is way cool and its been a very safe place for me and my boat for many trips, its in clearlake oaks very close to rattlesnake island, I have fished clearlake for over 30 yrs and stayed many many places around the lake, Blue Fish Cove is one of the best if you are a bass fisherman with a boat.....JMHO
