31 Boats Berryessa Bass Tournaments

Thanks to the 31 Teams that fished the fifth event of the Berryessa Bass Tournaments Circuit for the 2014-2015 Season that was on January 10, 2015 hosted out of Markley Cove. We had another good turn-out with a few more new teams that made an appearance and we hope they continue fishing the rest to make the TOC. We had some big wind come through a few weeks back that stirred up the water but the water has stabilized now. Again, thanks for the support to the teams for showing up to fish! Fishing on Berryessa remains a little tough for most teams with the weights reflecting the tough bite again! The weather was stable with air temperatures climbing into the low 60’s. Water temps finally dropped to the low 50’s. Top teams reported catching their fish with jigs, A-rigs, rattletraps, and swimbaits. First place went to Mike Nichelini and Carl Keller that weighed in 21.26lbs and with the Big Fish that weighed 8.69lbs. In Second Place, was Dale Shirley and Dave Tencati weighing in 19.75lbs. For Third place Brett Leber and Bob Spencer had a 5.59 kicker and a sack that weighed 18.49 lbs. Fourth place went to Art Narverud and James Kimura weighing in 18.47lbs and with a kicker that weighed 6.26lbs for 2nd place Big Fish. Fifth place went to Greg Pryor and Johny Douthit with a weight of 16.62lbs. Devin Dick & Brian Frank took Sixth place with 16.09lbs. Ryan German and Tom Shimabukuro weighed 15.33lbs. and took Seventh place. Thanks to all the teams for coming out and supporting the 2014-2015 Berryessa Bass Tournaments Circuit with the ISE show going on this weekend! There are still four tournaments left to qualify for the TOC. There will also be a little twist with the points for the last tournament scheduled May 9, 2015 that will be announced before the tournament. Let me know if you have any questions on anything.
