Trolling Motor Question

I've got an old Motorguide 750 trolling motor that I'm not sure of how to hook to the batteries. There are four wires and two are pretty obvious -- red and black. The other two colors are orange and white. Does the orange go to positive or to negative?

the red and orange are positives, the black and white are negatives. Hook up the red and black to one battery, the orange and white to the other.
