boat wax

Post by Caudawg »

Any recommendations for a good boat wax? I'm asking for a friend who has been having a problem with the waxes he has tried. The brownish film seems to keep coming up or soaking in on his white hull. He's not sure why this keeps happening. He cleans the hull with that startron stuff.

Where are you located? Give me a call and we can try to meet up somewhere so I can give you a sample cleaning. Safe and Easy marine cleaner can take care of that. www.snecare.com available at various locations around the delta and Tackle Warehouse. Sounds like he has the algae staining so common from delta and clearlake water, the "Hull Cleaner" would be the product to take care of that the first round then use the all purpose to keep the rig clean and the quick detail to keep it protected. (406)224-3421 I'll be at the snag proof this weekend too.
