Think you mean "retrieve".
Remember the rule......."i" before "e" except after "c".
Sorry. can't stand the errors any more.

Would really like to watch the video but it says, "This video is private."

Use your imagination or look up the late Dick Trask articles.

Re: Split Shotting - Rig, Retrieve, Location
I am not a worm fisher-person. I prefer reaction baits but I do realize that in order to catch fish throughout the day I must "worm" at some point.
Many years ago, I learned how to fish worms using the split shot technique as shown in the video. Since then I've modified my rigging. I use a 6-8# mono leader tied to 10-15# braid on my spinning reel. Instead of using a pinch on weight, I thread a bobber stop, a cylindrical weight, and another bobber stop onto the leader, then tie on my hook. The bobber stops allow me to adjust the leader length from the bait to the weight, and the mono helps the bait float up when I work the bait back to the boat. My sinker is hitting the bottom, and my bait is floating up behind it. Some- times I drag the sinker along the bottom, sometimes I hop it, and sometimes I use both methods on the same retrieve.
I also use a drop shot but if I must "worm" I prefer split shotting.
