Trinity Lake Reports!!

I was sitting at the computer tonight waiting to see if an e-mail went through and happened to check some fishing reports. I happened to check Trinity Lake and the two latest reports from John and Brian were absolutely wonderful! That is some of the best reading I have ever seen on westernbass.com!! I hope to meet the "Maine" guide someday - but when you have a guide trip like he did - it can make your year - regardless of how the fishing is. Most of our guide trips are with great people, but when you see young folks with manners as he described and a close-knit family all together - it gives one hope for the future in spite of MTV and most of the crap on TV. The amazing story Brian told hit home for me as I had nearly the same thing happen at Collins Lake as a grandpa stuck his 8 year old grandson with a hook JUST below his eye. It was not nearly a serious as what Brian and his son went through - but did that ever bring back memories!!! When we got to the dock, the boy had calmed down, so I thought a joke might cheer him up. Since he was going to summer school, I told him he could wear the hook to school and claim it was a new style of face jewelry. Sure 'nuff - I got a faint smile!!! Dad called the next day and said the emergency room took great care of the boy and he was fine! Just thought I needed to comment on these great back to back reports1
