While we were away, the Angels agreed to terms with Bobby Abreu... Not the stick that Texeira is, nor is he Man Ram, but the guy can swing it with the best of 'em...

yeah saw that when i got back.. we nabbed him up for a year. Always good to have a lefty with power in the line up in front of Vlad.

we also just re signed Santan to a 4 year 30million contract. He is the heart of our rotation. Glad we nabbed him. He said was intent on being an Angel. He is the youngest active pitcher with at least 50 wins. Im glad to see they are'nt letting talent like that go.

It was a solid move to pick him up, a Lefty with proven power. They even weighed on him, and got him at a pretty good price. Hes gonna have to prove himself to get a new deal with the Angels, or someone else next year. I expect good things...
