I hope ya got ta see Chael Sonnen throw that fight with 1:13 left! He kicked Anderson's a$$ the entire fight, just like Dana paid him ta do. Chael pummeled Silva the entire fight, purty sick actually. Then for absolutely no reason at all with 1:13 left, Chael sits back on his knees and just offers up his head and waits for Anderson ta figure out he can toss on that triangle and have his belt back. It was a great card, but that fight alone, has left a bad taste in my mouth regarding the integridy of the UFC.

I ended up going to Sharkeez in Manhattan Beach and had a great time. It was packed and had an awesome atomsphere. That wa a great card and thought Sonnen did awesome and was shocked he let himself get caught so late. He dominated Silva. I would hate to think he did throw the fight, I think he chose to keep pounding instead of playing it safe and just laying on him. Just goes to show how good Silva can be, even though, he was exposed throughout the whole fight. I think Sonnen backed up all his trash talking and hope he gets a rematch. Roy Nelson may have the biggest gut in the UFC, but that guy is a beast and as tough as hell.

The Sonnen fight in the last minute and a half he got hit with a SOLID right to the chin and if you watch he reacts very bad! it hurt him! Anderson did some damage on the bottom but regardless Chael dominated and I LOVED it so much because I've lost respect for AS. after watching him do NOTHING for 3 straight fights he's become the whimp GSP has...safe BORING fighter.

I see a lot of fighters implementing this strategy in the future. You have to push AS around to win.

I was most shocked by Matt Hughes though...never saw him destroying Almeida. That was hands down the shocker of the night for me!

Matty is still one of my favs!

Dos Santos...be careful HW division...he's here to stay and FOR REAL!!!!!!

LOL throw the fight? really? does that mean Lesnar threw his fight against Mir?

did you guys watch the post fight interview? Silva was told a week before not to fight but did anyway.

Personally I think he had ring rust from not being challenged enough technically. With Sonnen he fought offensively with all the hype and lost his timing. I don't think Chael beat up Anderson the entire fight, he controlled the fight and landed many more "punches" but to a Muay Thai,Judo,Jui Jitsu practitioner it's the damage that is created and the end result. Watch the post fight interview Silva doesn't have a nick on him and Sonnen looks like he got jumped. Those padded punches don't do near the damage an elbow/knee does.

Bring on the rematch and you will see Silva school Sonnen!
