i saw it in the reg's last year, i just never went last year. i think you just have to be 200 yards away from any docks, no forward motion in the boat, so you cant have any motors down. but i am not sure.

can anybody clear this up for me so i dont have to look through the regs again please :D

150 yards from occupied buildings and outside the city limits of Lakeport and Clearlake. See the article below from Terry Knight (who writes some really good stuff)

Don't forget guys...that's rice in those fields up by Rodmen slough on the Nice side. I used to hunt there as a kid in the 70's. Lots of geese too!

I have an old High School buddy who has a blind in the rice fields up by Rodman Slough. You guys DON'T want to know how exceptional his year his been. Thick as ticks! I used to shoot out of an unpainted aluminium boat back in the early 70's between Rodman and Nice and we always slayed them and we didn't even own a deke!

I have a good buddy who has a ranch out of witter springs. I have met the kid who's parents own those rice fields. Whenever I was at his house there were so many ducks out there. Ur lucky you get to hunt there. GOOD LUCK
