how fish for stipers effectivly

this year i started to seriously target stripers, what lures from big swimbaits to finnese and anything in between should i get, my home lakes are castiac and pyramid(casitas too but no silver fish in there)any and all help needed thanks

I only have limited experience up here on the delta, but stripers are suckers for topwater baits! Throw a Super Spook, a pencil popper or even a big buzzbait with a trailer on it such as a brush hog.

Small and large swimbaits will catch them as well, especially if you happen upon a "boil"! Throw it in and hang on!

Lipless crankbaits (i.e., Rat L Traps) work well as do white/red hair raiser jigs, or "road runners".

I was throwing a pointer 128 in ghost shad at our TOC and hooked a striper over 5 # damm near gave me a heart attack cause it was on the last cast before weigh in and i thought i was going to put us in the money with that fish ! It hit after rippin and a good 3 second pause try it you might be fishiin for stripers and get a phatt largie !!
