I went fishing for stripers at coyote point in san mateo about 12 yrs ago i now work a few miles from there and wonder is there any good fishing there still ?? my late friend caught several in the 10-15 # range on hair raisers and kastmasters he even had a 21+ once. Myself only a 18# RAY off grass shrimp at 2 am underneath the 747's landing at SFO. So i was just wondering if anyone still fished for them there and if it were in fact worth trying again???please advise THANKS

I'm sure you can still catch stripers off Coyote Point. It's also good at times for sturgeon...especially when the herring spawn.

I'd call the local tackle shops to find out what's happening down there.
