Where are the stripers

I know knowbody wants to give up there hot spots but I would like to catch some stripers with some size. Are they in Big Break, Sherman, or Franks? I have caught dinks all over the delta but not sure how far the bigger ones have moved in. All I ever catch are the little guys from 10"-18" I am only a C&R guy because I want the younger generation to have fish to catch. I keep hearing people are getting some big fish early on topwater but no idea where. If someone wants to send me a pm on some spots to try that would be great. I always share info with others when I find a good bite, except I do not share with the over loaded boats of meat hunters.
Thanks,

We have been catching them in Montezuma Slough. The smallest one that we caught is about 6 lbs with the largest around 25 lbs. Been catching them trolling and cranking 1+ oz lures. Seen a lot of bait being clobbered in the morning and will be bringing my punker rod to test out the top water action.

The 1.5 oz that I have been mainly using is clear with a blue tint to it. I've also caught them using 1 oz chromes.

North Bowl of Liberty Island if you have ballz - and alot of time to spare/drinks to be had after the tide goes out..... and you are waiting for it to come back in.
The north east bowl is 16' deep, or you can play the stranded channel game as well and have some boat movement in the western channels.
Just follow the bait to make your decision in what way you are going for these so far resident fish.

We've been catching them in Franks. A lot of dinks. Most of the keeper size stripers have been 21-22 inches with an occasional 8+lb fish.

I live up in the Redding area and always try to take a few striper trips to the Sac each fall.. I am a C&R fisherman, and would like to come down when we would be able to do some salmon and stripper fishing, are the two in the river together ever, and so what month would it be best to take the week off for. Usually stay at a buddies house in north Sac. Thanks for any advice. Last fall we caught some small stripers just down stream of the city, and then ran up to Knights Landing and did pretty good on Salmon. I have only been striper fishing a hand full of times, and have never caught one better than a few pounds.

I have my best luck with catching stripers and salmon in one trip during the winter months when the water temp drops into the 50's. Usually it's from Nov to Jan.
